Sales of mobile phones is predicted to reach 85-90 million sets in China this year, but the strong growth of the whole industry is likely to slow down in the years to come as the number of mobile phone users is likely to exceed 400 million in 2005.

SEOUL, Sept 23 Asia Pulse - Hyundai Securities Co. (KSE:003450), a South Korean brokerage, said Friday it has raised its forecast for Samsung Electronics Co.'s (KSE:005930) operating profit for the third quarter on expectations of higher sales in mobile phones, chips and flat panels.
